David Hill is the chief executive officer and chairman of the Fox Sports Television Group, and acts as the head honcho for the network’s worldwide presence in sports media. Along with his business associate Ed Goren, he is an executive producer for Fox Sports, creating the division in 1993 and building it from the ground up with his expertise. He has also set up the Fox Sports Net division, an unwired coalition of 21 regional sports networks. David lived previously in England, where he worked for the News Corporation, and helped launch Eurosport, Sky Sports, and Sky Television – Britain’s first satellite television station.
He is one of the judges on the TV Guide network’s new reality television series, America’s Next Producer. With his long history of overseeing networks and signing successful television shows such as Ally McBeal
, That 70s Show
, and Family Guy
, he will likely criticize contestants’ overarching long-term plans for production.
