Canadian actor Daniel Cudmore was born on January 20, 1981 in Squamish, British Columbia. He and his siblings were raised there by their parents: Sue Bailey, who works for the British Columbia Film Commission, and Richard Cudmore, a doctor.
Cudmore received his education from Gannon University and even became a member of the football team. Back then, he was forward for the Capilano Rugby Football Club in Vancouver. Both his brothers are involved in the sport as well.
As for his foray into acting, Daniel Cudmore auditioned for the title role in Superman Returns. However, he is best known for portraying the mutant Colossus in the X-Men movies. Aside from those superhero films, he has been seen on television shows as well.
In 2003, he was seen on Stargate SG-1. This was followed by minor roles, such as those in A Very Cool Christmas and on Masters of Horror. He was also on the 2005 movie Are We There Yet? and on Alone in the Dark.
Another well-known role of Daniel Cudmore's is as Felix on the Twilight movie saga. He made his appearance on New Moon in 2009 and reprised the role on Eclipse in 2010. In between, he was cast on the TV movie Revolution, and had a small part in Icarus.
