A lover of novelty blazers, Daniel Feld grew up in the Berkshires in Massachusetts. He attended the Pratt Institute of Art and Design, and lists Charles James and Thierry Mugler as his favorite designers.
Daniel is a self-proclaimed adventurous designer on Project Runway. He adds something different to his work, combining science and nature with his love for fashion. He had always wanted to be a zoologist, but was won over by the arts instead. His unexpected patterns and textures have been inspired by animals, which fuel his creativity. His unique style combines a lavish mix of cashmere, as well as silks and panned velvets. Another influence that he notes is his mother, who he compliments on her great attention to details in dressing and grooming.
