Cynthia Bailey is an Alabama-born pageant girl who came to New York two decades ago to make a name for herself in the world of modeling. Though she didn't boast a lot of credentials under her name, her efforts proved to be fruitful as she landed the cover of Essence magazine, which was her very first modeling booking. The gig proved to be successful, resulting to yet another opportunity to grace the magazine's cover.
Soon Cynthia found herself in the runways of Paris and Milan, strutting Fashion Weeks and representing various brands like Maybelline and Oil of Olay. Additionally, she also ventured into show business as she landed roles on The Cosby Show, New York Undercover, and movies like For Love or Money, The Dark Power and Without You I'm Nothing.
At present, Cynthia stars on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which also features her daughter Noelle. The reality series also sheds light on her relationship with longtime boyfriend Peter Thomas and her friendship with co-star NeNe Leakes.
