Courtney Van Dusen from San Diego, California is a happy-go-lucky, laid-back young woman who is constantly looking for a good time. She likes enjoying every moment with the people she loves the most and she is currently planning her entertainment journalism career. She believes that she's smarter than she looks and acts, and thinks that she can achieve the things she wants the most. Courtney's favorite past time is hanging out with her family and friends, reading, writing, vacuuming, text messaging, drinking, partying and watching scary movies. She also enjoys the rain and a warm body to curl up with and a good laugh.
Courtney became known as one of 20 contenders to compete for Bret Michaels' heart in VH1's reality dating series, Rock of Love 2. Upon entering the mansion, Courtney seemed to be shy and awkward, but as soon as the beer started flowing, she did not shy herself away from the booze. In fact, she got so drunk that she stayed in bed and missed the elimination ceremony. Unfortunately for her, she passed out and was among the eliminated women, but was allowed to stay the night. The next morning when Courtney woke up, she was informed of her elimination by Peyton. Since leaving, she joined Rock of Love: Charm School with Sharon Osbourne. She was the first one booted off the show.
