From Southington, Connecticut comes Corina, who began training in voice at the age of 11. A couple of years later, she began dance training in hip-hop, ballet, jazz and tap. She developed a love for country, pop and R&B music, and today, she composes her own music. A unique woman whose passion is performing, Corina was often seen as a misfit in her family and school due to her interests. However, her mother has grown to be supportive of her career but her father still insists that she should have a back up plan. Thus she is currently pursuing her education at LAVC, where she is a speech and communications major. Moreover, she enjoys being part of the debate team, where she actively participates in debate sessions.
Having a relaxed, care-free spirit, Corina enjoys having fun, despite being very dedicated and hardworking. She also likes getting attention, as she exudes strength and determination.
Inspired by artists such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Martina McBride, Corina loves to entertain. When her grandmother was still alive, Corina used to perform for her, and when her grandmother passed, Corina admitted that she realized her dream of performing in front of a larger crowd.
Corina rounds up the 14 finalists on ABC's Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann.
