Meet the Cast of 'Make Me A Supermodel' Season 2
Colin from Charlottesville, Virginia is a self-confessed nerd when he was growing up, including being Captain of the Academic team. During college, things changed, however, as he noticed he has become tall, dark, and handsome. He has since studied psychology and neuroscience at Carleton College, and worked with the neuroscience department at the University of Virginia. He had hoped to pursue a medical career, and didn’t even think of having any modeling experience before trying his luck on the hit Bravo reality series Make Me A Supermodel
. There, he became one of 16 contestants to compete for $100,000 and a contract with New York Model Management. Joining the aspiring models is show host Tyson Beckford, who plays mentor along with Nicole Trunfio. Helping out the group is this season’s panel of esteemed judges, including world-renowned designer Catherine Malandrino, model Jenny Shimizu, celebrated photographer Perou and international model scout Marlon.
On the premiere episode of Make Me A Supermodel
, Colin scarcely avoided getting eliminated because of a ghastly runway walk. He even had one judge describe it as “looking like a dog with his head stuck out a car window.” Despite being rather discouraged, he managed to make up for it by practicing even harder. Following that, he redeemed himself in a photo shoot for the series’ second episode. The models were tasked to act as various types of candy, with Colin getting picked to be chocolate. Their catwalk challenge was more difficult, as he was paired up with Karen. Coming up with the mantra “All I have to do is walk, I can do this, babies can do this!”, Colin pulled it off and did a better job. While he performed well throughout the show, he was inevitably eliminated on the eighth episode. Since then, he has signed with Basic Model Management in New York.
