Biography

Born on April 4, 1975 in Ontario, Canada, Claudette Mink is an actress who received conservatory training at the George Brown Theatre school in Toronto. She began her career on stage working alongside Mickey Rooney and eventually crossed over into the TV and movie circuit. Mink first played a hooker on the TV movie Spenser: Ceremony in 1993, followed by roles in Deadly Heroes, The Hardy Boys, and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. She also appeared on Men in Trees, Battlestar Galactica, The Days, John Doe and First Wave, as well as films like Tamara, Alfie, Paycheck and Children of the Corn: Revelation where she played the lead role. Since venturing into show business, Mink has worked with several big names, including Ben Affleck, Jude Law, Uma Thurman, Alan Cumming, Keifer Sutherland, Renee Zellweger, and Pierce Brosnan. After being cast as Laura Nelson on The Guard, Claudette Mink signed on to play Katherine Wellington on Harper’s Island, a CBS series about a group of family and friends who travel for a destination wedding to an island famous for a streak of unsolved murders.
