Best known for being the middle son of the memorable family of the iconic 1970s series The Brady Bunch, Christopher Knight was born on November 7, 1957. Despite such a wonderful start to his career, however, he did not pursue a lot of acting after his stint with the sitcom. He only did several guest appearances on other shows. In fact, in 1988, he pursued a career in information technology and computers. He was good at it, too. Entering the industry as an account sales manager at Martec Inc, he registered the company's first million dollar order after less than two years on the job.
Such a!@#!@en in the information technology industry proved almost miraculous for Knight as he was able to boost revenue for almost all the companies he entered after Martec. For instance, after becoming a sales vice president at the hardware company Adesso for four months, the company's sales doubled.
In 2005, Knight was cast in VH1 show The Surreal Life season 4. The show features celebrities who are said to be past their primes and puts them in a Hollywood Hills mansion for two weeks. One of the season’s highlight was his romance with model Adrianne Curry. So successful, in fact, that it spawned a spin-off My Fair Brady, which followed the new couple a year after their meeting in the house.
Knight is also a contestant in the NBC reality show Celebrity Circus, which features six celebrities who will learn the ropes of circus life, including mastering death-defying stunts with high wires, flying trapezes, and fire dancing. The contestants will then face a panel of judges for critique. Knight says the experience starts with “wide-eyed amazement,” then just transforms to “absolutely raging terror,” while adding that he has a fear of heights. While filming, he was reportedly injured and brought to the hospital because of a bad fall.
