Christopher "Chris" Lowell was born on October 17, 1984 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was educated at the prestigious Atlanta International School where he discovered his interest in theater and film making. He later attended University of Southern California, where he was discovered during his freshman year while he was playing beach volleyball. He was then cast for a role on the ABC drama Life As We Know It as Jonathan Fields, his most notable role. Early 2006, he appeared on the film You Are Here and the television series
Veronica Mars , playing Stosh "Piz" Piznarski who is deeply attracted to Veronica. Lowell's later projects are appearances on the film Graduation and his role in the new ABC series, Private Practice. He also is the vocalist and harmonica player for the indi acoustic band Two Shots for Poe.
William "Dell" Cooper is played by Chris Lowell in the television series Private Practice. Dell is the hunky receptionist at the clinic who secretly lusts for Naomi. The clinic women have been audience to his daily surfing preparations.
