Biography

Born on January 27, 1976 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England, Chris Gauthier, also known as “the Gooch,” is an actor who is best known for his role as cafe owner Vincent on Eureka. Gauthier first appeared on the TV series Cold Case in the 2000 episode “Trust” as Tyler. It took some time before his next acting gig came but when it did almost a year later, he was cast as Brett in the TV-movie A Girl Thing. Gauthier gradually broadened his credentials by guest starring in an episode of Dark Angel and in the film 40 Days and 40 Nights as Mikey. This was followed by supporting roles in a string of movie projects, including Insomnia, Agent Cody Banks, Some Lucky Bastard, Betraying Reason, Freddy vs. Jason and The Goodbye Girl. In 2004, Gauthier returned to the small screen as he appeared on The Chris Isaak Show. He also played recurring character Chuck on Da Vinci's Inquest, and remained in front of the cameras with roles in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, The L Word, Dead Like Me, Riding the Bullet, School of Life, Personal Effects, Stargate: Atlantis, Bionic Woman, Smallville, Watchmen and the cult series Supernatural. In 2009, Chris Gauthier was cast as Malcolm Ross on Harper’s Island, a CBS series about a group of family and friends who travel for a destination wedding to an island famous for a streak of unsolved murders
