Chris Daugherty Biography:
Chris Daugherty was born on August 29, 1970 in West Jefferson, Ohio. He is a graduate of Madison Plains High School and spent two years at Kentucky Christian College. Before becoming an employee of the Ohio Department of Transportation, Daugherty worked as heavy equipment operator for his father’s drainage company and was an employee of local sporting goods shop. He hopes to become a teacher someday and enjoys playing basketball in his free time.
Due to his quick-thinking and smartly executed strategies, Daugherty emerged as the Sole Survivor of Survivor: Vanuatu. After experiencing a couple of close calls during the earlier tribal councils, Daugherty bounced back and eventually found himself in the Final Two with female tribe member, Twila. Before the final tribal council, Chris managed to convince Twila to stand firm against any attacks that she might receive from the members of the jury. When jury member, Eliza, asked Twila to apologize, Twila retaliated and proceeded to engage in a heated argument. In the end, Chris received 5 out of the 7 votes, thus making him the winner of Survivor: Vanuatu.
