Actor Chris Bowers began his acting career after graduating from Brown University. Initially appearing on Broadway, notably in the production of Arthur Miller’s After the Fall, he proceeded to act for the screen, making his debut in the 2004 short film Off Islanders. His first notable television role came in 2006, when he joined the cast of the drama series Rescue Me. He played the role of Birdy, the abusive owner of a Boston Celtics-inspired pub, who does not pay wages to firefighter Jerry Reilly (Jack McGee).
Bowers’ next starring television role was in Bionic Woman, a reimagining of the original 1976 science fiction series, which aired in 2007. He played the role of Will Anthros, the boyfriend of series lead Jamie Sommers (Michelle Ryan), who gave her bionic implants after a near-fatal car accident. His role only lasted for an episode, as he was immediately killed by Jaime’s nemesis Sarah Corvus (Katee Sackhoff) afterwards. He has also played guest roles in Life is Wild and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
