Chloe Rose Lattanzi is the daughter of Olivia Newton-John and Matt Lattanzi. She is also the cousin of the multi-talented Tottie Goldsmith and the great-grand daughter of Nobel prize-winning physicist Max Born. As the daughter of the Grammy Award-winning pop-singer/songwriter, Chloe Lattanzi grew up surrounded by music. However, Chloe’s first interest was acting. She was just seven years old when she made her TV debut as part of Paradise Beach, an Australian Soap which aired on Nine Network.
In 1994, Chloe was cast for A Christmas Romance, a made-for-TV movie. Her other appearances were on shows Holiday, Extra, The RuPaul Show, Bette, Good Morning Australia and Today. She was seen in the film The Wilde Girls, which also starred her mother. In 1998, she acted on Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas Angel.
Chloe Lattanzi is a close friend to Australian actress Alesha Tatum and the two were part of the Australian productions of Hair and Beauty and the Beast. Alesha was Chloe’s understudy in Hair while Chloe was Alesha’s understudy in Beauty and the Beast. Chloe also performed for the Melbourne production of Hair.
In 2001, she sang “At Last” and “You Loved Me Into It” with her mother onstage.
Chloe was just 16 when Festival Mushroom signed her under Warner Record. She wrote songs, learned to be a producer and established her own music for six years. Her first album is entitled No Pain. She and Jarrad Rogers are the co-producers of the album. “The most important thing for me personally is that I can connect with other people through my music. I want my album to be like a trip that people can take with me. My music is like me stripped naked because I open myself up completely,” Chloe said about No Pain.
Chloe Lattanzi is one of the nine contestants on MTV’s reality talent search Rock the Cradle, wherein the offspring of pop and rock stars compete to prove that the talent is in their genes. Chloe’s goal is this: “I want, more than anything, to bring some light back to people's lives through my music. The beauty of music is that it is a universal language that everyone understands.”
