Born on June 15, 1972, designer Chloe Dao hails from Houston, Texas. She gained fame for being a contestant in the second season reality TV series "Project Runway,” and later as the winner in the show, edging out Daniel Vosovic and Santino Rice. She was educated at Houston Community College's design program and at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology. Since the show, she has continued to develop her boutique. Her designs have also been showcased at the Smithsonian Museum’s “Exit Saigon, Enter Little Saigon” exhibit. She has also launched several collections, like Simply. Chloe Dao, DAO Chloe DAO, and a line of travel accessories with Nuo Tech.
