British actress and model China Chow was born in 1974 in London, England. Her mother is model and designer Tina Chow while her father is restaurateur Michael Chow. She graduated from Scripps College with a degree in psychology and later took up modeling. She advertised Shiseido cosmetics, in addition to working for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
Since then, China Chow has been recognized by magazines like Harper's Bazaar , Maxim magazine and Vogue. In 1998, she made her acting debut opposite then-boyfriend Mark Wahlberg in The Big Hit. She then moved on to television appearances, landing a role in Burn Notice and That '70s Show. She soon became the host and judge of the Bravo reality series Work of Art: The Next Great Artist.
