Canadian actress Chelsea Hobbs was born on February 18, 1985. When she was merely three years old, she found herself inclined towards the performing arts and began to study dancing. At a young age, she already immersed herself in acting, making her debut in 1994. She played the character Chelsea Wright in the television series No Adults Aloud and pursued her career from there.
From 1996, Chelsea Hobbs was seen on a number of small screen movies. She was in Sweet Dreams as a young Laura, and the adult version of her character was portrayed by Amy Yasbeck. The aspiring actress then followed it up with a role in Perfect Body as a gymnast, before she was seen in the thriller Christina’s House. Her last film for the decade was Miracle on 17th Green, where she bagged the role of Megan McKinley.
In 2001, Hobbs had a bit role in an episode of Mysterious Ways and was next seen on Seven Days. She next played the character Madison on The Sausage Factory, before obtaining her shot to fame. Hobbs played the character Meredith Weller on several episodes of Pasadena, then was cast as Gerda on 2002’s Snow Queen. Prior to filming the TV hit, she had to finish school through a home-schooling program. Hobbs then worked on More Sex & the Single Mom and The Unknown, before she gained attention in the 2005 biographical sport drama Lords of Dogtown. She was next seen on the Lifetime TV mini-series Beach Girls and soon played the character Brooke on three episodes of The L Word. This was followed by Confessions of a Go-Go Girl and a role in an episode of Cold Case. Hobbs then landed a starring role in the ABC Family series Make It or Break It, playing the character Emily Kmetko in the gymnastics-centric show.
