American actress Charity Shea was born on December 4, 1983 in Denver, Colorado. She made her screen debut in 2004, initially playing a bit role in an episode of the television series Entourage. Her movie debut was in 2005, when she played a minor supporting role in the direct-to-video horror flick Scarred. Her other films include Alpha Dog, The Pumpkin Carver, Good Time Max and After Sex.
Shea’s first regular television role came in 2007, when she joined the cast of the teen series The Best Years. She took on the main role of Samantha Best, a foster child who nevertheless is an excellent high school student, and studies in Charles University on the back of a scholarship. Throughout the series’ 13-episode run, she tries to deal with her relationships as well as finding out that her mother is actually alive.
