Canadian actor Chad Faust was born on July 14, 1980 in Victoria, British Columbia. Also a singer, film director and writer, he began his career working the independent film circuit, releasing his first feature film We Ran Naked in 1999. He has also released two CDs under an independent label. However, he is perhaps more known as an actor. He started his acting career in 2000, when he appeared in the Canadian television series So…?

Faust has starred in a variety of films and television shows. His films include Bang Bang You’re Dead, Try Seventeen, Moon in the Afternoon, Hope Springs, Saved!, Tamara and Nearing Grace. He also appeared in television shows such as Taken, Smallville, Cold Squad and CSI: Miami. He also had a recurring role in the short-lived drama Still Life.

His biggest role to date is in the science fiction television series The 4400. He plays the role of Kyle Baldwin, the cousin of Shawn Farrell (Patrick Flueger). He was supposed to be abducted and be part of the 4400, but Shawn was instead abducted when he tried to save Kyle. In effect, his character slipped into a coma, and struggled to reestablish his life when he came out of it three years later.
