A fan of Kate Moss, the 5’9” model Cerri McQuillan hails from Dublin, Ireland. She describes herself as angelic; that is, until she opens her mouth. Her first gig in the industry was an appearance on an Irish magazine, but she has continued modeling for seven years.
Some of Cerri’s work includes those for Revlon, Target, Marc Jacobs, John Rocha and a chance to go to India to model with elephants. With the difficulties they often experience in the business, she has to know just how to relax. Her hobbies are watching movies, hiking upstate and just hanging out in Central Park.
But to pursue her dreams of modeling, Cerri auditioned to be a contestant on Project Runway’s sister show, Models of the Runway and got accepted. Both series air on the Lifetime Network, and pits the contestants against one another to win the top prize.
The 16 models were paired with a designer from the show, but Models of the Runway will feature more scenes regarding the backstage drama that occurs during the competition. Each model will share their perspective, from the tears to the laughs they all experienced while being on the series. She placed sixth overall in the competition.
