Although Californian Caprice Bourret was born in the United States on October 24, 1971, she is mostly well known for making a name for herself across the Atlantic in the U.K. She spent most of her childhood in Hacienda Heights, California. It was not until 25 years later, in 1996, when she would move to the U.K. to pursue a career in modeling.
Lingerie, it seemed, was central throughout Bourret's career. For one, she gained popularity as one of UK's more bankable models after modeling the Wonderbra. She has appeared on the covers of several notable magazines, such as GQ, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Maxim, FHM, and, in 1998, the highly coveted Swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated. It doesn't end there. Bourret is also an entrepreneur, having launched her own line of lingerie and hair styling products using her image and name. Her business acumen proved to be highly successful as her lingerie line is now in its sixth season and she is planning to expand her business to North America and Australia.
In 2005, Bourret was cast in VH1 reality show The Surreal Life Season 5. The show features celebrities who are said to be past their primes and puts them in a Hollywood Hills mansion for two weeks. In this season's circus/carnival theme, American Bourret was introduced, indeed, as “Britain's Most Beautiful Woman.” For the most part, Bourret was one of the quieter, more reserved ladies in the house, opposite fiery Omarosa Marigaunt and icy Janice Dickinson. She revealed her naughty side in one episode when she hauled baseball legend Jose Canseco and dirt bike legend Carrey Hart to her room and dressed them up in her very own lingerie. She likewise had a lot to say about the feud that ensued between the two ladies.
