Born on December 3, 1973 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bruno Campos is an actor best know for his role as Dr. Quentin Costa on the series Nip/Tuck. Growing up, he spent his childhood traveling between Brazil, Canada, Bahrain and the United States. When he was 14, he went to Michigan’s Interlochen Arts Academy to later take up drama at Northwestern University.
In 1995, Campos appeared in the Brazilian film O Quatrilho, which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards. Later on, he broke into the American market, appearing as Diego on the NBC series Jesse opposite Christina Applegate and later in the Showtime series Leap Years. In 2004, he was cast as plastic surgeon Quentin Costa in a recurring capacity. He was promoted to series regular the following year.
Campos’ other credits include a guest spot on Private Practice and lending the voice of Prince Naveen in the Disney feature The Princess and the Frog in 2009. The following year, he was cast on Royal Pains as Charlie, the ex-husband of one of the leads.
