Biography

Caitlyn Jenner was born on October 28, 1949 as William Bruce Jenner. As a decathlete, Jenner won the gold medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics, setting a world and Olympic record of 8,634 points. Besides a successful career in sports, Jenner also established a career in show business, appearing in numerous movies and television shows. Jenner's acting credits include roles in ChiPs, Murder, She Wrote, The Love Boat, Can't Stop the Music,and Grambling's White Tiger. Beginning 2007, Jenner starred on the reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians along with wife Kris Jenner, stepchildren Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian, and daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Jenner has also made cameo appearances on the show's spinoff series.

In 2014, Jenner filed for divorce from wife Kris. In the same year, sex change rumors about Jenner started to surface in the media. A year later, the former athlete confirmed the transition with Diane Sawyer in a tell-all called About Bruce. E! also released a two-part Keeping Up with the Kardashians special about Jenner's family's reaction on transitioning from male to female. In June 2015, Jenner revealed herself to the world as Caitlyn Jenner through an interview and photo shoot with Vanity Fair. At present, Jenner stars on the docu-series I Am Cait, which chronicles Jenner's new life as a transgender woman.
