Bruce Jenner

Date Of Birth

October 28, 1949

Born on October 28, 1949 in Mount Kisco, New York, William Bruce Jenner is a U.S. track athlete who won the decathlon in the 1976 Summer Olympics. After leading an active and athletic high school life, he earned a football scholarship to Graceland College. Unfortunately, a knee injury forced him to venture into decathlon instead. As he discovered his talent for decathlon, he was mentored by Graceland's track coach L.D. Weldon, who encouraged him to reach different heights. In the U.S. Olypic trials of 1972, he placed third, and subsequently finished 10th at the Munich games in the same year. Jenner eventually won the gold medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics, setting a world and Olympic record of 8,634 points. After a long, successful career in sports, he ventured into acting in 1980, when he first appeared in the film Can't Stop the Music. His other credits include television commercials. He is also the father of Brody and Brandon Jenner, sons from his previous wife, Linda Thompson. In 1991, he married Kris Kardashian, former wife of O.J. Simpson's defense attorney, Robert Kardashian. He had two daughters with her, namely Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Bruce Jenner A.K.A. Mr. Mom became known for his stint on Keeping up with the Kardashians, a reality show from E! Entertainment and Ryan Seacrest Productions. The Republican was seen trying to keep the peace and quiet in his family full of celebrities and socialites. As a motivational speaker, sports commentator and commercial spokesman, he hoped that his communication skills would be enough to tame down his wild crew of party people.

Other than the E! reality series he appears in, Bruce Jenner is also known for his small roles in Nickelodeon’s made-for-TV movie Gym Teacher: The Movie, and his guest role on The Bonnie Hunt Show. He has also made a cameo appearance on the animated series Family Guy and has since been seen in Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami.
