Brendan Synnott is one of 16 castaways aiming to outwit, outplay, and outlast the rest in Survivor: Tocantins.
Raised by a single mom, the 30-year-old New Yorker rose to prominence through his pursuits as a businessman. He was a co-founder of Bear Naked, a natural food brand that became known for its granola and other similar products. Recently, the company was sold to a subsidiary of major cereal maker Kellogg’s for a hundred million dollar price.
However, financial success isn’t everything for him. His love of sports and the outdoors has exhibited throughout his life, from his student years when he played baseball and football, to his participation in extreme sports later in life. While he continues teaching in business school, he craves to stay active and be competitive—attitudes that he hopes will help him in his stint on Survivor.
