her formative years in an impoverished community in Harlem, and insists on disproving the notion that people who are raised in poor communities have poor mentalities. She became a finalist on America's Next Top Model
Cycle 5 when she was 19 years old. During the show's auditions, Bre admitted that she sometimes skips taking a bath when she feels lazy. She considers her mom and Jesus as her personal heroes. Two of Bre's favorite movies are Love and Basketball
and Take the Lead
As a finalist on Cycle 5, Bre was able to make it all the way to the Top 3. Despite having fallen to the bottom two 4 consecutive times, the judges felt that Bre had been able to overcome her weaknesses and had greatly improved over the course of the competition. Bre got into a terrible argument with fellow Top Model Finalist Nicole Linkletter
after she poured Nicole's energy drink down the sink, believing that Nicole was the one responsible for her missing granola bar. When Nicole asked Bre if she was the one who took the energy drink, Bre proceeded to lie and vehemently denied Nicole's accusation. During a judging session, the judges questioned Bre about the incident, and she had no choice to tell the truth. For the CoverGirl shoot on the last week of the finals, both Bre and Nicole had a difficult time, but ultimately, the judges decided to eliminate Bre.
After appearing on the show, Bre has been affiliated with numerous agencies, such as Td Entertainment, Milian Models, Elite Agency, and Dark and Lovely. She has also modeled for Vogue Magazine and appeared on the cover of Health Magazine. She has since been on the lookout for a modeling agency with whom she can feel more comfortable. She hopes that people will not perceive her as just a celebrity model. In 2010, she appeared in Garnier HerbaShine.
The next year, Bre returned to America's Next Top Model
Cycle 17, also dubbed the All-Star Cycle. There, she joined other alums for another shot at the title. The winner will be receiving a special spread in Vogue Italia
and a contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, in addition to joining the Express fashion campaign and a chance to become a correspondent on Extra.
