Bradley Cole was born on February 11, 1959 in Southern California and was educated at Pepperdine University where he enjoyed playing baseball. Unfortunately, a massive injury prevented him from pursuing a sports career, thus he turned his attention to acting instead. Upon graduation, he flew to France and spent a few years in England. Cole's acting career took off when he appeared in the international soap opera Riviera. Other than film and television, he has also worked on his music career. He began taking up guitar lessons at eight years old, performing with a number of music groups throughout his career.
Moving on to movies, Bradley Cole has worked on made-for-TV films like Jewels and The Sun Also Rises. On the big screen, he has starred in Sweet Revenge, Touch and Die, and 5 Days in June. He gained further fame when he accepted the role of Prince Richard Winslow in the CBS soap opera, Guiding Light. This portrayal earned him a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination for Outstanding Male Newcomer in 2000. Three years later, he returned to the series, this time playing District Attorney Jeffrey O’Neill.
Cole is also active in the theater. His credits include roles in Killer Joe at the Frankfurt English Theater, as well as in Lone Star and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Both of these were performed at the Gallerie 55, the Paris English Theater. He continued to work on his music, playing guitar as part of an amateur rock group in Europe. He has released four albums since 2006, which are Tonite, All Your Dreams, In Our Time and A Human Thing. Some of his songs have been featured on Guiding Light as well. Most of his gigs are for a good cause, like the Annual Rock Show for Charity to benefit the American Red Cross. Another hobby that this actor has is horseback-riding, and has a son named Sean William Cole with his wife, Yasuko.
