Having been cheated on more than once, Bobby Banhart of Brooklyn is a real sweetheart who has issues trusting women. However, he still puts his girlfriends first and foremost in his priorities. This film school undergrad has been on the lookout for his leading lady. He enjoys cooking, sports, beer pong, being with friends and family, racing dirt bikes, and watching movies. He is of French, German and Native American descent.
When Bobby was younger, he used to spend time being the entertainer of his neighborhood. He would go around asking girls to smell his hat, which would always get a laugh and a hilarious reaction from them. It was his desire to entertain coupled with his love of film that caused him to enroll at the State University of New York College at Oneonta, where he went on to pursue his film degree.
Bobby became known as one of 32 contestants on MTV's hot bisexual reality dating game, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, where he competed with both sexes for the affections of Tila Tequila.
During the show, fellow contestant Ashley erupted when he was eliminated, injuring Bobby and forcing him to take an ambulance to the hospital. Perhaps Bobby's most memorable task was eating a bull's testicles, winning the competition and getting a private champagne bath with Tlla Tequila.
On the December 18th finale of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, Tila chose Bobby to pursue a relationship with.
However, Tila Tequila announced at MTV's New Year's Masquerade 2008 that she and Bobby had broken up and she would again look for love in the spring, on another season of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.
According to Tila's MySpace page, her relationship with Bobby ended several days before New Year's Eve when he broke it off due to his inability to handle her hectic schedule. However, Bobby countered on his own MySpace page that after the finale, he was unable to call her and that no one associated with the show would give him her phone number, so he couldn’t contact her. No matter who broke up with whom or how it ended, Tila Tequila and Bobby were one of the shorter-lived reality TV romances. Tila has since moved on and launched A Shot at Love 2 on MTV.
