Physics teacher Bob Crowley is one of the contestants of the reality series Survivor: Gabon. Born on February 25, 1951, he is currently a resident of Portland, Maine with his wife and three children. He got his associate and bachelor’s degrees in foresty from the University of Maine – Orono, and eventually left the University of Southern Maine with a master’s degree in education. While teaching high school students in the town of Gorham, he works as an entrepreneur. During his free time, he dabbles in photography, archaeology and writing.
Bob obviously love the outdoors. He describes himself as a cross between Indiana Jones and Robinson Crusoe—honest, adventurous, resourceful and witty. At one point he’s built a “green” summer cabin made entirely out of recycled materials and requires less energy than the average American home. He hopes to bring his abilities to Survivor; he plans to not make too much of a fuss and instead act as a provider, to prove that nice guys can make it to the end of the game.
