Biography

Blake Shelton is a country singer who got his break in 2001 upon releasing his self-titled debut album. His single, "Austin," immediately topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The Oklahoma native later released several more albums, including The Dreamer, Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill, Pure BS, Startin' Fires, and Honey Bee.

Shelton's success as a performer allowed him to pursue other avenues in the field of country music. He started to become visible in the small screen, first as a judge on Nashville Star and then on CMT Insider. At present, he serves as one of the judges on the NBC competition series The Voice.
