Born on October 22, 1982 and hailing from Stillwater, Oklahoma, Beth Ann Bonner is the youngest of three sisters. Her father was the commander and conductor of the United States Air Force Band, leading her to grow up in an environment passionate for music. She and her family relocated often, and she was exposed to concerts throughout her childhood. “When I saw that you could sing AND act on stage, I knew that's what I wanted to do,” she has said.
Beth Ann Bonner completed her studies at Emerson Performing Arts College in Boston. She originally intended to take up musical theater, but decided that majoring in acting was the better choice. After graduation, she did professional work in Boston, but decided that she would fare better if she moved to Los Angeles. Later on, she was booked as one of the three finalists on SoapNet’s I Wanna Be a Soap Star. Though she failed to win the contest, she landed a contract playing the character Talia Sahid on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. The role of a police officer and investigator appeared to her immensely, exclaiming “"I think she's got the right amount of toughness and has a lot of mystery in her past. ... I like the fact that she has a lot of insecurities but tries to put up a front that she's in control.”
The actress actually began singing at the age of two. Three years later, she started to perform in public and even with her father in concerts. When she was a teenager, she recorded the album, Born of Love, together with songwriters from her hometown. Another appearance that Beth Ann Bonner has made was in a 2007 episode of The Fashionista Diaries, which was titled “It Isn’t Always Glamorous!” She later remained in New York City, caring for her dog, Lulu.
