Michael Barrett "Barry" Watson was born on April 23, 1974 in Traverse City, Michigan. When he was eight, his family moved to Dallas, Texas. When he got older, he worked as a model and when he turned fifteen, he moved to Burbank, California to pursue an acting career. There he was cast for the soap opera . A little while later, he moved back to Texas to pursue his education and graduated from high school in 1992. When he turned 19, he headed back to LA and landed a minor role in the Aaron Spelling series Malibu Shores. In 2002, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, which forced him to take a break from his role on as Matt Camden, a rbarry waaole he was best known for. Watson has starred in movies such as Sorority Boys and Teaching Mrs. Tingle opposite Katie Holmes. He also starred in the TV show , where he played the lead role, Brian Davis. In 2006, he married his second wife, who is a style consultant on .

Todd is played by Barry Watson on the comedy series Samantha Who? Todd is the boyfriend of Sam Newly, who got into a terrible accident, leaving her with amnesia. Todd is just one Sam’s clues to rediscover her old, obnoxious self and change for the better. Watson's next role was on Samanth Who?, before he appeared on Drop Dead Diva and My Future Boyfriend.
