Aviva Drescher works as the National Spokesperson for One Step Ahead, an organization for amputees, and as an advisory board member of Cancer Schmancer, as well as with the Live4Life Foundation. She studied at Fieldston School before completing her B.A. degree at Vassar College. She later earned her master's degree in French at New York University, and a law degree at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Instead of pursuing a career as a lawyer, she decided to prioritize her family which consists of investment banker husband Reid Drescher and their four children. Since season 5, she has been appearing as one of the cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City.
