Ava celebrated her Super Sweet 16 party through an Arabian Nights bash which according to her represents her “major transition from childhood to adulthood.” She is best known in the reality show for shopping for her dress in Paris, but chose two custom-made dresses from Los Angeles instead; for leaving her parents’ house when her mother closed her credit card account; and for driving a Range Rover without her parents’ consent.
Two years after, Ava is now a 19-year-old college sophomore majoring in global studies. She is also planning to enter law school after graduating. She is still widely recognized in LA and surprisingly, even has a fan base in Iran. According to her, she takes great pride in representing the Iranian community on the American television.
At home, she still drives that Range Rover she got from her Super Sweet 16 celebration and still uses her parents’ credit cards from time to time. But all of this is about to change as she makes her comeback in reality television as cast of Exiled, a reality show on MTV which sends America’s richest and most privileged young people in the farthest corner of the earth, to learn that there’s more to life than fame and wealth.
