American actor Austin Peck was born on April 9, 1971 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Prior to being an actor, he had a successful modeling career. In 1995, he took the jump to acting, joining the cast of the daytime soap Days of our Lives. He succeeded Patrick Muldoon in playing the role of Austin Reed, the aspiring boxer whose tumultuous relationship with Carrie Brady (Christie Clark) was the focal point. His character became one of the most popular in the show.
Peck played the role until 2007. During the time, he made several appearances on prime time television, playing guest roles in shows such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The District, Charmed and CSI: NY. He also starred in movies such as Are You a Serial Killer, Breaking Dawn, Aim?e Price and Dating Games People Play.
In 2007, Peck joined the cast of another daytime soap, As the World Turns. He played the role of Brad Snyder, succeeding John Loprieno. During his tenure in the program, he was made the co-host of a talk show with Katie Peretti (Terri Colombino), who would eventually marry.
