21-year-old Ashley Michaelson is a native of Williamson, Wayne County who moved to Manhattan, New York to work on her degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She had been modeling and acting, according to her, since she can remember. "I was born into it," she said. Her credits include print, TV ads, and guest roles on Law and Order, the HBO series The Sopranos, and daytime soap As the World Turns. She is now a designer's assistant.

Michaelson stars in the ABC reality show True Beauty that puts the spotlight on ten people who are beautiful on the outside who'd try to see if they have what the show calls "true beauty" - beauty on the inside.
