Chicago native Ashley Howard was 22 years old when she joined America’s Next Top Model’s Cycle 13. Known as the season for the Shorties, this cycle of the hit series premiered with its new twist of including models 5’7” or under. She was praised for being quite a competitor on the show, but was criticized for her weak photos. She was soon eliminated in episode six because she failed to use her background in dancing to portray grace in the shoot. She has since embarked on a singing career and even opted to record an album of her own.
