Raised in Portland, Arthur Wornum is a stay at home dad who joined The Biggest Loser season 11. At his wits' end, he originally weighed over 600 pounds and was able to bring down his weight to a little over 500 pounds but hasn't shed any pounds since then. Now dealing with high blood pressure and diabetes, he hopes that the show will help him reach his weight loss goal so he could relive a childhood memory of going to the Portland Trailblazers games.
Wornum, who was originally part of the Blue team, was eliminated on week 9. Though his initial weight was 507 pounds, he was able to cut down 163 pounds, bringing his weight to a total of 344 pounds during the finale of The Biggest Loser.
-Ron Morelli, a contestant on The Biggest Loser season 7, served as Arthur's inspiration to join the show.
