Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Arnold Myint became known as the chef and owner of Cha Cha, PM, and Suzy Wong’s House of Yum. Growing up, he was inspired by his mother who has run a successful restaurant for 30 years. He went to Institute of Culinary Education for his culinary arts diploma, before his Cha Chah got voted as the Best New Restaurant by Nashville Scene in 2009.
The former competitive professional figure skater, Arnold says his culinary approach is mirrored by his colorful life. His favorite recipe is anything with peas. Pursuing his culinary career, he auditioned and was chosen as one of the 17 chefs competing on the seventh season of Bravo’s Top Chef. He won the challenge on the third episode, but was eliminated the week after. Since then, he has continued working on writing menus and cooking for the numerous restaurants he owns.
