Arin Ray auditioned for
The X Factor season 1 solo but at bootcamp was put into the group
inTENsity. They were eliminated after the first week of live shows.
In season 2,
he auditioned again but this time, he tried to make it on his own. He survived boot camp and eventually became part of judge
Britney Spears' team.
Performing for the first time
on the live stage as a solo artist, Arin Ray sang "Keep Me Hanging On" by The Supremes.
The R&B singer opened the next week
with a performance of "American Boy."
After a bumpy start Arin Ray sang "Crazy for You" by Madonna.
When the Top 10 performed, he sang "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias
but was out of his element and was eliminated
the next night.
