was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a three-sport-letter-winner in high school. He studied at Scotland School for Veterans' Children and then enrolled at West Point. Shortly after his graduation from West Point, Angelo was commissioned as a Signal Corps Officer. As an army captain, he led more than 100 soldiers in Iraq and mentored them in using computers and setting up for online classes. After accomplishing his task in Iraq, he returned to his hometown and served as a minority recruiter for West Point. He was also marketing director for Bell Curves, a preparatory course for SAT and ACT exams. In 2005, he was deployed to Korea and he worked there for a year.
Angelo Adam's favorite food is Philly Cheese Steak and his most loved movie is Shawshank Redemption. He confesses that his biggest indulgence is eating candies. Sweet Potato Pie and Swedish fish remain on top of his favorite dessert and snack list. He enjoys listening to hip-hop and R&B music and names Jay-Z as one of his preferred artists. Angelo claims that his favorite time of the day is during lunch, when he gets to bond with his wife. He loves Disney Cruise vacations and spends his weekends tailgating at University of Michigan football games.
Angelo's favorite giving back moment is when he provided free ACT classes to underprivileged youth who were applying to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Currently, Angelo is a second year student at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and has two children namely Jasmine and Isaiah.

, where each contestant is given a large sum of money as they compete in finding “the most powerful, sensational, emotional and dramatic ways to give to others.” According to him, he joined the contest to infuse his giving spirit into the communities.
