Ambre Lake from Chicago, Illinois describes herself as a small town girl from Alabama who was raised by her father with serious Southern values. Her father was strict, but she believes that it is what made her who she is today. She graduated from Troy State University in Alabama with honors, earning her bachelor's degree in music and dance and immediately pursued a master's degree in fine arts with emphasis in acting and dance from Michigan State University. She then found a job as a TV host and actress, and had the time of her life with her career. Ambre's interests include football, working out and dancing. She also enjoys art, and likes going to photo galleries and art museums.
As an actress, Ambre debuted on Sweet Home Alabama, where she played the wedding coordinator. hen she filmed Eden Court with Stephanie Weir and Tom Lennon. She also worked on the TBS series entitled Blotter Series. In April 2006, Ambre appeared on the cover of Milwaukee Magazine.
Ambre became known as one of 20 contenders who competed to win the heart of rock star Bret Michaels in the VH1 reality dating series, Rock of Love 2.
On the season finale, Bret Michaels chose Ambre as his rock of love, beating out Daisy. Though Ambre was nearly eliminated in the first episode, she successfully made a connection with Bret without resorting to childish antics or overt sexuality. The two have since split up, but she reappeared on the next season for a brief stint on the show as Bret’s friend.
