Amara Miller made her acting debut as Scottie King in the 2011 film The Descendants, which earned her nods from Central Ohio Film Critics Association, Phoenix Film Critics Society and Women Film Critics Circle, as well as a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film. Two years later, she was cast on the NBC comedy series 1600 Penn, alongside Bill Pullman and Jenna Elfman.
