As the younger sister of actress and tabloid darling Lindsay Lohan, Ali Lohan obviously pales in terms of publicity. Born Aliana Lohan on December 22, 1993 in Long Island, New York, Ali began her career in show business in pretty much the same way her more famous sister did, as a Ford Model since age three, appearing in such magazines as Vogue Bambini, Teen Vogue, and Rave Girl. She also has several film and television credits to her name, including Get a Clue, The Parent Trap, and Confessions of a Drama Queen, all by Disney. Her big sister was a big part of her growing up, as Lindsay would always encourage her to try out for small roles if there were openings. She has also appeared on her sister’s music video of “Confessions of a Broken Heart”.
Moreover, Ali Lohan has also dabbled on music, as she was included in a Christmas compilation album released in 2005, alongside more established recording artists such as Hillary Duff and Jesse McCartney. Shortly after, she has released a solo album called “Lohan Holiday” where she sang classic Christmas hits. Other than acting and singing, Ali is also an avid soccer player and, in fact, she played forward for the Long Island soccer team.
In 2008, Ali starred in the E! reality show Living Lohan
, which chronicles her attempt to follow her bigger sisters’ footsteps, with her mom Dina also acting as her manager. While Living Lohan primarily revolves around this venture, other members of the family are also given some airtime. The show followed the Lohans from their Long Island residence to wherever Ali’s dreams may take them. In the show, for instance, Dina accompanies Ali to a Las Vegas studio to record her would-be solo album.
Since then, Ali has recorded her second album called All the Way Around. She even got cast as Traci Walker in the direct-to-video film Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out?
