Akiko is one of ten expert contestants on the Bravo reality show Launch My Line. Born in San Diego, CA, she aspired to become a designer at a young age, learning how to sew from her grandmother before designing her own outfits in high school. A graduate of Otis College of Art and Design, she established herself with designs that flatter the female form and inspired by vintage prints and embroideries—outfits sought by many celebrities.
