Italian actor Adriano Giannini was born in 1971 in Rome, Italy. His father is renowned actor Giancarlo Giannini, who played French agent Rene Mathis in two James Bond films.
Adriano Giannini was cast in the 2002 movie Swept Away, appearing alongside Madonna. He also became known for dubbing the character of the Joker in the Italian version of The Dark Night. Other roles of his include those in the TV movie The Bodyguard and in 2004's The Consequences of Love. He also lent his voice to Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, as well as appeared in several Italian productions. These include LAs 13 rosas, the mini-series Tigri di carta, L'ombra del destino, and La casa sulle nuvole. He later landed the part of Giancarlo Rossi in the 2012 ABC drama Missing, starring Ashley Judd and Sean Bean.
