Born Gerardo Celasco on April 8, 1983 in Miami, Florida, Adrian Bellani is of Italian and Salvadorian descent and whose family moved to El Salvador when he was a child. HE was educated at the American School of El Salvador and later moved on to study finance at Southern Methodist University. Aside from acting, Bellani is involved in international horse jumping competitions such as the Central America Games and volleyball, where he played in competitions to represent his country. After finishing his education, he did modeling for the Toni & Guy Bed Head campaign and appeared in the international Pepsi commercial with Christina Aguilera. He later landed a role on NBC's daytime drama series, Passions.
Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald is played by Adrian Bellani on the daytime drama Passions. Miguel is the second youngest of five children of the Irish-American family headed by Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald and Martin Fitzgerald, who soon left his family for another woman named Katherine Barrett. Miguel grew up with a local tomboy named Kay Bennett who secretly had feelings for him. However, Miguel had set his eyes upon Charity Standish, whom he fell in love with, much to Kay's chagrin. Kay was so desperate to have him for herself that she raped him and got pregnant with his baby. She gave birth to a girl named Maria, however this did not change Miguel's mind about her. He left to pursue Charity, and Kay remained to be Maria's single mother.
