Adam Hunter

Biography

Adam Hunter discovered his talent in comedy back when he was in college. He was a member of the wrestling team then and had to stay at his dorm every Thursday because he has matches every Fridays. During these nights, he would usually make prank calls on the local public access TV station, inserting dumb comments while the panels are in a serious discussion. He had his debut as a stand-up comedian about ten years ago at Stand Up NY in New York City. Since then, he has devoted his time in pursuing a career as a comic. Adam Hunter’s worst fear is to stand in front of a crowd who would not laugh at his jokes.

Adam Hunter considers Chris Rock as his major influence in stand-up comedy. He admires the comedian’s delivery and writing. Aside from Rock, Hunter also has Rodney Dangerfield, Jim Norton and Dane Cook on his list. His favorite television shows are Seinfeld and The Ultimate Fighter. He also loves watching Conan O’Brien and his all-time favorite is Ali G. As for movies, Hunter has Rocky on the top of his list, followed by Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Superbad, Knocked Up, Boogie Nights, Snatch and Happy Gilmore.

Adam Hunter became known as one of the finalists of the Last Comic Standing, a reality talent show on NBC searching for the funniest and wackiest stand-up comedian in the country. He was eliminated on the 11th episode, but has continued his career appearing on shows and short films.
