Dr. Remy Hadley (Olivia Wilde) is one of the doctors hired for Dr. Gregory House's (Hugh Laurie) medical team. She is nicknamed "Thirteen" because that was the temporary number assigned to her during the interview process. Remy was hired with two other doctors, Dr. Chris Taub (Peter Jacobson) and Dr. Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn). Her rival during the interview process was Dr. Amber Volakis (Anne Dudek). She also had a brief relationship with Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps) that almost caused her to lose her job.
Dr. Hadley is the only female assigned to Dr. House's team. Originally she was hired because Dr. House found her interesting. During her two years on the team, she unveiled her life story. She is a bisexual and has dated both men and women, although she prefers women for one night stands. At the end of Season 4, she tests herself for the incurable Huntington's disease, which her mother died from.
After she finds out she is positive, she goes through many stages of grief. Initially she was on a self-destructive path of doing drugs and having one night stands. Then she moved on to valuing her life and trying to make her life matter. She enrolled into a clinical trial, but the drugs that were supposed to cure her, caused a tumor in her brain. In the latest season, she is still being secretive and does not want anyone to worry about her. She claimed that she was going to go to Rome for a clinical trial but she turned off her phone and no one knows where she actually went.
