Aaron Carter, the House of Carters star and singer, was arrested Thursday afternoon for possession of marijuana.  While in Texas, Carter was driving his Cadillac Escalade and was pulled over around noon for speeding.  The officer searched Carter's car and found less than two ounces of marijuana.  He was promptly taken into custody and spent the night in jail.  Carter was driving alone at the time.  He was expected to be arraigned Friday morning. 

House of Carters is a reality show following a documentary structure that focuses on the Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter and his four siblings as they attempt to stimulate and refresh their careers, and reunite as a family.
