Synopsis
Meredith Grey is in her first year as a surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital. She is introduced to her fellow interns Cristina, George, Izzie, and Alex. Meredith ends up sleeping with a man who would turn out to be her boss, and George is asked by Preston, an attending doctor, to perform surgery.
